So The Killers have spoken out about the shit sound at Glasto this years Glastonbury.
I don't blame them it really did ruin the atmosphere for the main acts. I was right down the front for The Killers having been dragged down their by Killers Obsessed mate, Becca so fortunately they sounded damn good to me.
My experience of it was during the Monkey's set on the Friday...it was crrrrap and with them not really being the most loud band anyway it totally peed me off.
Eavis' excuses seeem pretty lame too....it was new soundsystem, err no actually the weather oh no sorry it was the council. The flipping council. Come on for Christ sake! It happens once a year, (if we're lucky) for three little days...
Don't bow to the pressure next year Eavis!

Would have loved to have been there with ya Vix but unfortunately my need for dump out-weighed my desire to see the Killers and alas we were not to be reunited until back at the tent in the early hours of Sunday morning. Saw the Twang though who were quality! I think the best soundsystem they had at Glasto was at the John Peel tent. The sound at the main stages just seem to either get blown all over the park or complained about by a tiny Pilton minority who can't handle a bit of bass hum once a year! Not a problem at Bestival I might add. With the site being in a valley it all holds together so well. The Chems, Beasties, Gossip and Primal Scream all played absolute blinders on the main stage with the ear drum rattling sounds you need to enjoy those kinds of bands. The Big Top was banging out the tunes until the early hours and the 24 hour field was actually 24 hours! Festival of the summer without a doubt - See you there next year sister.
